Daily/Weekly/Monthly Maintenance

Here's an overview of your mobile blaster's maintenance needs.

Daily Maintenance

MMLJ Parts

  • Inspect the pinch hose.
  • Inspect the blast hose.
    • Check for soft spots by squeezing it about every six inches. Also, look for holes, cracks, and disintegration of the outer casing. If you discover several soft spots, holes or general deterioration, it's time to replace the hose.
  • Ensure filter regulator is cracked open so it can drain.
  • Ensure moisture trap drain is cracked open (see mobile unit best practices).
  • Inspect all gauges.
    • Ensure gauges are at 0 when machine is not in operation.
  • Walk around trailer and inspect tires and breaks.

  • Inspect battery electrolyte/water level, top off just above the cell plates
  • At the first 50 hours, change the compressor oil & filters.  Future oil changes should be performed every 500 hours after this.
